Shane’s exploits on the basketball court are legendary including his toe-to-toe stoush with NBA great Charles Barkley. Shane has also experienced the same exhilarating highs and devastating lows in the business world. The Hammer speaks “REAL” about his life on and off the court.

Recognised as one of Australia's finest basketball players, captaining Australia and playing on the international stage. His brilliant basketball resume spans four Olympic Games where he represented Australia from 1992-2004. He honed his skills in the prestigious Greek, Italian and US basketball leagues and was the Captain of the Sydney Kings in their first-ever championship and Captained the Australian Team. Thanks to his 6ft frame, Shane had some doubters on his rise to the top however, he never let this prevent him from pursuing a career in the sport. He put in the hard work required to achieve his dreams and his sporting career is testament to the rewards of hard work, passion for what you love and overcoming challenges.After Basketball, Shane successfully made the transition from sport to business with a thriving franchise and property development company employing 150+ staff - The Heal Group.
